An intrepid group visited for the only dry weekend in January! A 9/11 mile walk on Saturday was followed by an easier 7 or 10 miles on Sunday.
The second visit of the year from Coalville ramblers. The club had a self guided walk on the Friday, which was damp, however the rest of the weekend was fine and mostly dry. Longer and shorter walkers were accommodated with even some almost flat walks!
Three and a half days of exceptional autumn weather made for a superb walking weekend. There was the occasional comment that it was too hot, in October in Wales?!
It was a wet weekend but the group remained pretty cheerful. The waterfalls were in fine fettle. This is Craig Goch Dam.
A mid week group of 25 had a mixed week of weather with two walks on each day, 7 for the shorter and 10 for the longer.
A new year 6 group of children came for a four day stay at the Lodge. The activities focussed on problem solving, working together and resilience. Raft Building was just one of the activities.
