Hi Anna
I would like to thank you for a fantastic residential visit to the Elan Valley.
The activities were well organised, challenging and team building.
The tour of the dams was interesting, well run and made us all think carefully about our water.
The accommodation was comfortable, the food delicious and the hospitality was 5 *!

Thank you for all your help.

Sutton YMCA 1-4th October

A group of young adults from Sutton YMCA stayed at the Lodge as part of the Elan Links programme. They had a mixed programme of Outdoor Activities, Bushcraft and exploring the Valley and Dams with the Ranger service.

Some feedback from a parent: “I just wanted to say a big thank you to the staff there - for the way they treated Chris and the other students. Although each had a disability they were encouraged to participate in all activities and treated with respect.”

And from a participant: “I LOVED SPENDING TIME WITH ALL MY FRIENDS. I FELT SO PROUD OF BEING PART OF A TEAM LEARNING NEW THINGS TOGETHER. THANK YOU FOR THIS BRILLIANT EXPERIENCE IT WAS AWESOME.”

Lyndhurst School enjoyed some fantastic weather for their 5 day visit to Elan Valley Lodge, although it had turned a little hazy by the time they visited Claerwen Dam as part of a study of the Elan water system with Education Ranger Fiona Wase from Welsh Water.
